We had friends over to watch the Super Bowl last night, we never dreamed that the Giants would win.Â
Monica fixed a chocolate cake and pizza–our guests brought brownies (my personal favorite). We had a great time of enjoying the game and the conversation–it was good to see the 3 ID soldiers from Camp Victory participating in the National Anthem.Â
We all began to feel the pain of the late night at half time–so we went our separate ways. I watched part of the second half in bed–but was overcome by fatigue. I woke up to hear that the NY Giants won in the last seconds–oh, if I could have seen that. At least, I can watch it on the AFN replay today.
