The dust settles

by Chaplain Andrews on June 9, 2008

I was so happy this morning to see that the dust was begining to settle.  I settled enough for me to see clearly for about a mile before becoming hasy.  That was enough for me to run outside.

After a long weekend of not doing PT, I was begining to feel fat and lazy–so I get up and pray for a convoy going out and start running.

Now, I will add that I was slow this morning because there was a wind–that will kick up more dust as the day goes on.  But the same wind kept me cool.

Until I turned around and the wind was in my back, and the heat was in my face.  It felt like about 80-90 degrees, not too bad–but not real good also.

So the dust storm has about ended, bring on the heat.
